A VOW for Health through Science, Service, and Self-Care
© 2013 by Vision of Wellness LLC
VOW was founded by Shanta Rishi Dube, PhD, MPH, in an effort to bring awareness about chronic stress and trauma she has witnessed on a daily basis. Inspired by her research as one of the early investigators on the Kaiser-CDC Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study, Shanta has realized that the current healthcare system is in need of an overhaul. Our program, called "a VOW for Health", leverages "Science to Guide Service and Self-Care" through trauma-informed training programs and practices that integrate Ayurveda and Mind-Body practices.
